Who Are We?

Set on the shores of Lake Rotoaira, Te Puna o Rotoaira is a peaceful lakeside campground offering space to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of the Central Plateau. Surrounded by lake and mountain views, and close to Tongariro National Park, it’s a relaxed base for quiet escapes, outdoor adventures, fishing trips, and time spent outdoors at an unhurried pace.

Lake Rotoaira is privately owned and administered by the Lake Rotoaira Trust. The campground was established to share this special place with visitors while caring for the lake and its surroundings, and guests are welcomed to enjoy Lake Rotoaira with respect for the environment, the local community, and the unique character of the area.
